Giving Back to those who Give Back!

On Saturday, October 13th, 2012, Memphis Massage Professionals joined together to GIVE BACK to the volunteer Habitat for Humanity builders who were also spending their Saturday GIVING BACK! Three therapist volunteered their time for three hours at the Lands End build site just off Egypt Central. In attendance were

Licensed therapists Trevecca Douthet, LaWanda Allen, and Charlene Gaffney. The event created a sense of appreciation and gratitude among the volunteers at the event. The therapists also discussed the benefits of massage for muscle soreness after strenuous activity in order to promote massage awareness in the community. Plans are in the works for the MMPs to visit a new build site in Memphis in the Spring to continuing their mission of promoting massage awareness and GIVING Back to the community.
